Your printer, found in three steps.

Print&Scan works with any AirPrint printer. Most connect on their own; if yours doesn’t, the in-app guide walks you through it. More detail in how to print from iPhone.

  1. Join the same Wi-Fi

    Put your iPhone and your printer on the same network. AirPrint printers then show up in Print&Scan on their own — nothing to install.

  2. Not showing up? Press WPS

    Press the WPS button on your router, then the Wi-Fi or WPS button on your printer. It joins the network in a minute or two.

  3. Still stuck? Use a computer once

    Run your printer maker’s setup on a computer to put the printer on Wi-Fi. After that, print straight from your iPhone.

What you print stays on your phone.

Print&Scan is a printing tool, not a document cloud. Here is what that means in practice. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.

  • Printed and scanned on your phone

    Your documents, photos and scans are prepared on the device and sent straight to your printer. We don’t upload them.

  • Contacts stay put

    When you print contacts, Print&Scan reads them on your iPhone only. Nothing leaves the device.

  • Dropbox only when you ask

    Connect Dropbox if you want to. Your sign-in is kept in the iOS Keychain and you can disconnect any time.

  • You choose about tracking

    The free version shows ads. iOS asks you before any app-tracking, and the answer is yours.

Questions, answered.

Will it work with my printer?

If your printer supports AirPrint — most Wi-Fi printers sold in the last decade do — Print&Scan can print to it. Look for “AirPrint” on the box or in the printer’s specs.

Do I need a computer or a driver?

No. AirPrint is built into iOS, so there is nothing to install. If your printer isn’t on Wi-Fi yet, the in-app guide shows how to connect it.

My printer doesn’t show up. What now?

Make sure your iPhone and printer are on the same Wi-Fi network, then try the WPS button on your router and printer. The setup guide in the app walks through each step.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. Printing and scanning happen on your iPhone. Files from Dropbox are fetched from your own account only when you open them.

What is free, and what is Premium?

Scanner, Text, Drawing and Photos are free, with two free prints to try everything. Premium unlocks every other tool and unlimited printing, as a monthly, yearly or one-time lifetime purchase.

How do I cancel a subscription?

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Print&Scan. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
